Highlights of 2011 (not in order)
1 Going to Queensland in July for a week to play netball with 9 other girls from my school. Even though it was through a school competition, I love playing netball so it just seemed like a holiday.
2 Seeing The Jezabels with my older sister. Such a brilliant band.
3 2 week family holiday to Thailand. It really just made me realize how many beautiful places are out there and...

Makes me want to gas myself when I read about how 14 year olds are going to get drunk tonight.
I know it’s NYE but really kids?

Finished the Ellen Degeneres book “Seriously….I’m kidding” that I got for Christmas.
Not going to rant, but she is one talented, witty woman and everyone should read her book. It made me love her even more.

Last day of 2011, kind of feel like I need to spend it doing something fun, or eventful, but I can see now that it’ll be another day of watching Glee and eating gingerbread.
And you know what? I’m completely fine with that :)

Matt Morrison is a fine human being.
I’m sorry but I have recently become rather attracted to his acting, his singing, his songwriting and himself.

Anonymous asked: no one care about your garlic story.
THIS IS WHY I'LL NEVER BE A GOOD HOUSEWIFE.
so tonight I’m cooking dinner and normally I put garlic on the roast potatoes, and I was in a rush so I quickly grabbed a tube of shit from the fridge assuming it was minced garlic, but after I put it on the potatoes I realized it was actually ginger.
YEAH GINGER!
So I had to get paper towel and attempt to wipe it off and then I got the garlic and tried again.
BUT I’m cooking...

Watching “water for elephants”, and it’s only 20 minutes in but the photography is beautiful, and the lighting is really nice and Robert Pattinson is actually not making me want to gag.

Mariska Hargitay: I miss Chris every day.
Interviewer: Would you ever consider guest-starring on True Blood, with Chris?
Mariska: Sure! All they have to do is ask.
Interviewer: So you’d be okay with being naked, with Chris?
Mariska: Like I haven’t been before?
Love this!

I realize this sounds so bizarre...and I didn't...
In a way I don’t want 2012 to start because once the calendar ticks over to the new year, it’s all fresh and clean and perfect because nothing has happened yet; and compared to 2010, this year hasn’t been quite as amazing and so I really want 2012 to be one of the best, but I have this fear that the first couple of months at least will be wasted and I just really want it to be...

people who use ‘sick’ as an adjective should be sterilised.
you are likening something to vomit.
vomit: ejected matter from the stomach through the mouth: “it made him want to vomit”; “she used to vomit up her food”.

I’ve spent the day doing literally nothing, lazing around in my pj’s and this afternoon I’ve been (and still am) watching the second season of glee.
I don’t want the holidays to ever end.

Sometimes people post things on Facebook and I think they forget thousands of people can see it.
Either that or they just don’t care.

my desire to be able to write
I wish I could write. I don’t mean literally, obviously I am capable of holding a pen and moving it along paper to produce words on a page. I mean properly. I want to be able to write something, even if it was just one good piece of writing and that was it. That’s all I was capable of. At least it would be something. When I was younger I used to write stories. They were shit, but I loved creating...

John Stamos on Glee- sweet!
~ forgot about this episode, season two.
Boxing day sales were a winner! Formal shoes, two pj / casual tops and a new dress! :)

Heading off to the boxing day sales this morning.
It’ll either be really hectic and I won’t find anything and I’ll come home really disappointed. Or it’ll be really hectic and there will be lots of bargains and I’ll come home very happy :)
Either way it’s going to be so bloody crowded, I’ll just have to be assertive and make my way to those sales.

lying in my bed, listening to my ipod, with my big new headphones that block out all background noise (not that there is much “background noise” in my house at 11:30pm), with my fairy lights on. so happy.
I got a very lovely collection of Christmas gifts today, and I’m so content right now.
Sleep well fellow bloggers, hope you had a charming day.
and to those who still have Christmas...
